Soil / Waste Classification for Re-use or Disposal
We provide advice and options for soil re-use; whether it is for use on/off-site or for resource recovery.
Samples can be collected either in-situ or from stockpiled material.
Sampling in-situ soil for soil classification can also be useful for forward planning and help eliminate construction delays and double handling.
We can collect soil samples before excavation work begin and classify the soil in accordance to the Natural Excavated Material Order 2014 or the NSW EPA Waste classification guidelines
We can carry out soil testing on stockpiles for waste classification. If the site is comprised of different levels of contamination it is best to try and separate the soils into similar piles.
